Performance at KuKu Klubi

Me singing and Mihkel Kleis playing the synthesizer at KuKu Club in Tallinn, Estonia. (17.03.12)
Duo is called Ratkiller.

Video taken from a phone so the quality is usual. I do not usually perform, but I couldn't turn down an offer to perform with Mihkel, whose music is really great.

Crazy drummer at Toolse FreeLove Festival

The third festival this week was called FreeLove, in Toolse, North-East Estonia. The name was especially ironic since it was full of local chavs who were ready to punch your teeth in case you said something wrong. Especially if you did not speak Russian. Luckily, everything went well and without incidents.

FreeLove is held every year in different places around Estonia, this was my first attendance. I expected more people and better weather, but in general it is worth attending since it is also free...

gateways. Art and Networked Culture

Facebook tells us:
The exhibition “gateways. Art and Networked Culture” introduces a young generation of artists whose work deals with the changing conditions of a networked world – a world increasingly transmitted through media. The artistic works presented here use various means to tackle the theme of gateways that lead to realms of action and experience in our digitally interconnected culture.

You can enter a message on the computer. It is sent then to the chip located on snail's back. Once the snail reaches another receiver, located in this little garden, your message will be safely transported. Unless the snail decides to move in the opposite direction.

Another piece: you type in the word and then it is generated by falling water.

Lenin and others

The others. Not part of the Gateways exhibition.

Women taking care of a man.

Women taking care of a child. It was screaming loudly and was annoying.

Exhibition is open until 25th September, Kumu Art Museum Tallinn
